New music and tour news from Australian Eurovision artists - Kate Miller-Heidke, Dami Im and more



Today we look back at all the latest music releases, videos, show and tour news from Australian Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ artists throughout January to mid-March.


New music:

Over the last few months we got eleven Australia Decides songs released ahead of the show on the Gold Coast on February 26. You can check out all the songs and artists here.



Jaguar Jonze - 'CUT'

Released: 7 January 2022


Before the release of her Australia Decides entry ‘Little Fires’, Jaguar Jonze released a follow up to her epic single ‘WHO DIED AND MADE YOU KING?’ as a gift to her fans called ‘CUT’. The song is raw, unapologetic with a very clear message! The music video is epic with Jaguar using an angle grinder! You can read more about the release here.


Alfie Arcuri - ‘DEVILS LIPS (Alphalove Remix)’

Released: 15 January 2022


Back in October 2021 The Voice Australia 2016 winner and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2019 entrant Alfie Arcuri dropped his latest infectious pop release ‘Devils Lips’. He also released a rather juicy music video with peach-clad muscled men dancing to the infectious beat.


In the new year Alfie released an epic remix of ‘DEVILS LIPS’ the Alphalove Remix which is perfect for the dance floor as club and bars start opening back up across the country. You can check out more about the original single release here.


Drella - 'Until the Morning'

Released: 20 January 2022


Drella is a Melbourne artist who represented F.Y.R Macedonia at Junior Eurovision in 2008 as Bobi Andonov, when he was 14-years-old, with ‘Prati mi SMS’ which finished in 5th place which is equal best placed entry for the Balkan country. 14 years later the young singer songwriter released his long awaited music debut under his new name Drella called 'Until the Morning’.


'Until the Morning’ was co-written by Drella along with Dylan Bauld and Sam Watters. It is a dark-pop number where Drella showcases his unique vocals. He is set to release an EP during the year.


Olivia Newton-John — 'PHYSICAL: 40th Anniversary Megamix’

Released: 21 January 2022


It has been 40 years since the release of Eurovision star Olivia Newton-John’s release of her single ‘Physical’. In honour of the anniversary Olivia released a 'PHYSICAL: 40th Anniversary Megamix’.


Jim Brickman & Olivia Newton-John — 'Valentine' 25th Anniversary Remix

Released: 3 February 2022


Eurovision 1974 artist Olivia Newton-John has featured on a remix version of pop songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman’s 1997 hit song ‘Valentine’. It was released to coincide with Valentine’s this year and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original release. Both Jim and Olivia sang a duet of ‘Valentine’ together on Jim’s PBS TV special ‘My Romance’ back in 2000.


Jordan-Ravi — ‘Headspace'

Released: 11 February 2022


In February ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ 2020 artist Jordan-Ravi released a follow up original single ‘Headspace’. His last original release was ‘LEAVING L.A.’ which came out December 2020. ‘Headspace’ is a self-penned song with a nice guitar driven backing track, about the release Jordan said on his socials:


“I’m really proud of this one guys. I’m so excited to share it with you all. It’s one of the most honest songs I’ve written. I hope you love it as much I do and it brings you comfort in these crazy times. Get ready to be in your feels 🤍✨”


Paulini — ‘We Are One’ Mixtape

Released: 18 February 2022


Household name and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ 2022 artist Paulini released some banging remixes in promotion for her entry this year with ‘We Are One’. She released two mixes, a ‘Euphoric’ and ‘LoFi’ version. Also just before the Australia Decides Paulini release a Radio Edit of ‘We Are One’, which you can check out here.


Montaigne feat. David Byrne — ‘Always Be You'

Released: 24 February 2022


Australia's Eurovision 2021 representative Montaigne has released her new single 'Always Be You' in collaboration with David Byrne! David is the frontman from the new wave group Talking Heads. He is also known for his adventurous solo career. Montaigne performed ‘Always Be You’ live on the Australia Decides stage on the Gold Coast in February. You can read more about the release here.


Jack Vidgen — ‘PTSD'

Released: 25 February 2022


‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ 2020 artist Jack Vidgen has released another banger track, ‘PTSD’, this time showing more of his “cheeky” side released ahead of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. ‘PTSD’ is a banging dance track with very spicy attention grabbing explicit lyrics. The song also has a dark edge to it where Jack is referring to times of pain and suffering he has endured in his life.


Sheppard — ‘Encore Live From The Valley’ EP

Released: 25 February 2022

After twelve months in the vault, Australia Decides 2019 artists, Sheppard have released ‘Encore Live From The Valley’ EP which is a collection of live recording from their show in Brisbane last year. It features their huge hits ‘Geronimo’, ‘Coming Home’ and more! You can also watch the performances here.

Seann Miley Moore — ‘My Body (Stripped)'

Released: 28 February 2022


‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ 2022 artist Seann Miley Moore gave us body, body, body on the Gold Coast stage. Straight after the Australia Decides weekend Seann released a beautiful stripped back version of his entry. This version showcases his amazing vocal range - what a voice! Kate Miller-Heidke with Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra - 'Nightlight'

Released: 3 March 2021


The new album that Kate has been working on with other artists and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra has been released.


The album features the first single by Kate called 'The Healing Tree' released back in November 2021.


The Hush Foundation works with artists to create music that brings calm and optimism to patients and their families in stressful health and care environments. The new album also includes artists Missy Higgins, Washington Music, Emily Wurramara, Mama Kin, and Naomi Crelin.


'Nightlight' features a new version of Kate’s song 'Ernie', with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.


Kate Miller-Heidke feat. Jaguar Jonze - ‘You Can’t Hurt Me Anymore'

Released: 9 March 2022


In what is one of the most epic collaborations, Australia's Eurovision 2019 representative Kate Miller-Heidke and recent 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 jury winner Jaguar Jonze have released a song together called 'You Can't Hurt Me Anymore’.


'You Can't Hurt Me Anymore' is a powerful song of bravery and empowerment after Kate's own experience of sexual assault and child abuse. You read more about the release and statements from both Kate and Jaguar about the song here.


This version of 'You Can't Hurt Me Anymore’ is part of a Deluxe Tour Edition of Kate’s 2020 album ‘Child In Reverse’. It with be out on March 18 with new songs!


Dami Im - ‘Big Red Car'

Released: 11 March 2022

Australia's most successful Eurovision representative Dami Im released a cover of The Wiggles classic 'Big Red Car' as part of tribute songs for The Wiggles new album ‘ReWiggled’. Ahead of the 'Big Red Car' release Dami shared a bit about her covering The Wiggles classic:


"I liked ‘Big Red Car’ for its simple but feel good lyrics. There was room for me to mould it into something completely different. I worked on it with Garrett Kato who produced the track and we turned it into a soft R&B arrangement with a subtle hip hop beat."




New shows and tours:


Jude York - 'Special guest for Mystic Kito'

Date: 23 March 2022

Jude York is heading to Sydney to perform as a special guest for Mystic Kito along with Heleina Zara. He will be performing in the The Great Club in Marrickville, NSW on March 23 at 6.30pm. Get tickets here. The show was re-scheduled from March 9 so tickets for the initial show are still valid.



Jaguar Jonze - ‘At The Hoey Moey'

Dates: 24 March 2022


Jaguar Jonze will be performing at The Hoey Moey on March 24 in Coffs Harbour, NSW, as part of Great Southern Nights. She will be joined by Asha Jefferies. Tickets are selling fast. Get your tickets here.



Sheppard - ‘Sheppard at Kingscliff Beach Hotel'

Dates: 31 March 2022


Sheppard will be performing a headline show at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel in New South Wales on March 31. The show is part of the Great Southern Nights. The band will be joined by special guest Genes. Tickets on sale now get all the details here.



Sheppard - ‘The Star Championships Day 1'

Dates: 2 April 2022


Sheppard will also be performing at the Royal Randwick, in NSW, for the first time. They will perform on April 2 The Star Championships Day 1. Get tickets and more information here.



Voyager - 'At Badlands Bar'

Date: 21 April 2022


After smashed the public vote at 'Australia Decides' on the Gold Coast, Voyager return to their hometown of Perth where they will be headlining a show to celebrate the incredible support they received. Voyager will perform at the Badlands Bar in Perth on April 29. Get tickets to the show here.



Jaguar Jonze - 'Bunny Mode Tour'

Dates: June/July 2022


After impressing us all with her amazing performance of 'Little Fires' at Australia Decides Jaguar is embarking on a national 'Bunny Mode Tour'! She will be performing in ten shows across the country. You can get more info and ticket from her website here.



Kate Miller-Heidke - 'Child In Reverse Tour (Rescheduled)'

Dates: July 2022

After after two years of cancellations and postponements Kate has rescheduled her national tour to promote her album 'Child In Reverse'. She will be travelling across the country in July with special guest Emily Wurramara. Get show details and tickets here.



Guy Sebastian - ‘Higher Sounds 2022'

Dates: September - November 2022


Guy Sebastian is behind a new project of bringing soulful folk music to regional locations across the country with the creation of the ‘Higher Sounds 2022' tour.


Joining Guy will be Queensland's own country-folk-roots kings Busby Marou, soulful crooner Jarryd James and the awe-inspiring vocals of veteran blues-soul sister duo Vika and Linda.


The tour begins mid-September and will travel across the country over 10 Saturday nights, visiting the following locations Hervey Bay, Mudgee, Adelaide, Perth, Yarra Valley, Ballarat, Hunter Valley, Berry, Canberra and Parramatta.
