Montaigne releases her new single 'Always Be You' with David Byrne

Australia's Eurovision 2021 representative Montaigne has released her new single 'Always Be You' in collaboration with David Byrne!

Montaigne first performed the song live at her Melbourne concert last week, revealing that she will be performing it at 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 on the Gold Coast this weekend.

She has been teasing that she had collaborated with an artist for the new single. She described working with them as "very exciting". It wasn't until the release day that it was revealed to be David Byrne.

David is the frontman from the new wave group Talking Heads. He is also known for his adventurous solo career. He is also known for his collaborations with artists like Fatboy Slim, St. Vincent and Brian Eno.

Talking Heads had many successfully charting albums in Australia with 'Little Creatures' released in 1985 and 'True Stories' released in 1986 reaching No. 2 on the Australian album chart.

'Always Be You' is from Montaigne's upcoming album to be released later this year.

You can catch Montaigne performing 'Always Be You' along with her Eurovision 2021 entry 'Technicolour' at 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 this Saturday night, live on SBS.

'Always Be You' is available now on iTunes and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

'Eurovision - Australia Decides' takes place on the Gold Coast on 25 and 26 February. Get all details in our 'Australia Decides - Everything you need to know' article.
