Australian Eurovision stars to appear at Perth Telethon 2026

Perth's 59th annual Telethon is taking place this weekend, and former Eurovision representatives Jessica Mauboy and Kate-Miller Heidke are among this year's star-studded lineup.
What is Telethon?
The Channel Seven Perth Telethon, known to locals simply as Telethon, is an annual telethon held in Perth with a mission to improve the health and well-being of children in Western Australia. Since its inception in 1968, it has raised over $770 million that goes towards research grants, community programs, medical equipment and much more.
Held in October, Telethon typically includes a 26-hour live broadcast, ticketed opening and closing shows, and the Telethon Family Festival which provides free activities and entertainment around RAC Arena during the final day of the event.
Telethon is the highest-donating telethon per capita in the world. In 2025 it broke its yearly record of funds raised for the 16th year in a row with a whopping $90.1 million.

The Telethon 2026 lineup - who is performing?

As is the case every year, Telethon attracts a plethora of local, national and even international legends from a variety of industries to lend their talents to a worthy cause. There are a couple of names, however, Eurovision fans will recognise.
Australia's 2018 representative Jessica Mauboy is no stranger to Telethon, making her first appearance there in 2009. She will perform at both the opening and closing ceremonies.
Kate Miller-Heidke, Australia's artist from 2019, is making her Telethon debut in this year's addition.
Also joining the lineup is operatic tenor Mark Vincent, who competed in Australia Decides in 2019 and ultimately finished in 7th place.
Outside of Eurovision, musical guests will include stars such as Morgan Evans, Rogue Traders, Reece Mastin and Phil Burton of Human Nature.
The familiar faces won't stop there; viewers can look forward to seeing stars from the AFL Premiership, WWE, The Wiggles, as well as a host of Channel Seven TV shows.
When and where to watch
Telethon will take place this weekend, starting October 17 2026 at 7pm AWST.
For viewers in Western Australia you can catch the live broadcast on Channel Seven; for those in the rest of the country, you'll be able to stream the event either on 7plus or the Telethon website.
