Eurovision Song Contest 2022 - All you need to know



The 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Turin in Italy, following the nation's win in 2021.


In total, 40 countries will take part over two semi-final and a Grand Final.


Here are all the details you need to know about the 2022 Contest:


When and where is it?


The event will take place between May 12 - 16 in Turin Italy at the Pala Alpitour, which was originally built for the 2006 Winter Olympics.


The schedule is:


May 10 - Semi-final 1

May 12 - Semi-Final 2

May 14 - Grand Final


When will it be broadcast in Australia?


The shows will be broadcast live on:


May 11: 5:00am (AEST) - Semi-final 1

May 13: 5:00am (AEST) - Semi-final 2

May 15: 5:00am (AEST) - Grand Final


Additionally, primetime replays will be shown:


May 13: 8:30pm - Semi-final 1

May 14: 8:30pm - Semi-final 2

May 15: 7:30pm - Grand Final
