Today we look back at all the latest music releases, videos, show and up coming tour news from Australian Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ artists throughout July.

Dami Im - 'Dreamer'

To be released: 26 October 2022


Australian Eurovision royalty Dami Im has revealed details on her upcoming autobiography 'Dreamer'. It is set to be released on October 26 2022 and is now available for pre-order!



In 2023 Dami is set to celebrate 10 years of her dedicated fan group the Dami Army! She is planning some exciting moments to celebrate. To start off the iconic green and gold Dami Army t-shirt is available for all Dami fans. Get your t-shirt here while they last.



New music:


Tania Doko - 'Live Loud'

Released: 20 June 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2019 artist Tania Doko has released a new song 'Live Loud' for a compilation album called 'Priceless' by Mastercard. It is the first compilation from the multinational financial services corporation. The album consists of tracks by the likes of UK Eurovision 2019 Michael Rice, and Timbaland just to name a couple of names.


In other news Tania and her music partner James Roche aka Bachelor Girl, will be part of a music festival in Broken Hill called Mumdi Mundi Bash on 18-20 August 2022. The duo will be joined by other Aussie music greats including Midnight Oil, Jimmy Barnes, Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers and more! Get tickets here.



Montaigne - 'die b4 u'

Released: 8 July 2022


Australia's Eurovision 2021 representative Montaigne has released another single, 'die b4u'. The song is taken from her upcoming album 'making it!' which is due to be release on September 2, 2022.


'die b4 u' made its premiere on the national Australian radio station Triple J during the show 'Home & Hosed'.


Montaigne will celebrate the release of the new album with a national tour in September and October.




Mirusia with Paulini - 'I Know Him So Well'

Released: 8 July 2022


Australian-Dutch soprano Mirusia and household name Paulini, from 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 have released 'I Know Him So Well' from the musical Chess.


The pair recorded the song at the Farmhouse Studios in Brisbane. 'I Know Him So Well' is a duet about two women - Svetlana, the Russian chess champion's estranged wife, and Florence, his mistress - who express their bittersweet feelings for a lover and at seeing their

relationships fall apart.


The emotional duet will feature on Mirusia's new album 'Songbird'.



CODY JON feat. Charley - 'dirty dancing'

Released: 14 July 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022 entrant Charley has released a new indie pop single 'Dirty Dancing' in collaboration with singer songwriter Cody Jon!


The pair wrote the song over a year ago and have released the song with an epic 2000's nostalgic music video. You can read more about the new release here.



Voyager - 'Submarine'

Released: 14 July 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2022' runners up, Voyager, dropped a new single, 'Submarine'. This release is a follow up to their hugely successful song, 'Dreamer', which finished in second place at Australia Decides this year. The music video is one epic journey, you need to check it out. Voyager - 'Hyperventilating - Live'

Released: 28 July 2022


This years Australia Decides televote winners, Voyager, have released a live version of 'Hyperventilating', off their upcoming live album release 'A Voyage Through Time'.


The Aussie electro rockers celebrate 20 years in the music industry and had delivered a light-hearted live stream, 'A Voyage Through Time' which is now being officially released for the fans. The set list covers their vibrant and varied back catalogue celebrating their seven studio album releases.


'Hyperventilating' is originally off Voyager's 2014’s release 'V'.




Electric Fields - 'Tjitji Lullaby'

Released: 29 July 2022


‘Eurovision - Australia Decides 2019’ runner-ups Electric Fields with ABC Kids have released a special indigenous lullaby, ‘Tjitji Lullaby’ on all music platforms.


‘Tjitji Lullaby’ is about singing baby animals to sleep, showcasing our rich and diverse animals and land. This beautiful track was created and produced by Zaachariaha Fielding and Michael Ross from Electric Fields.


The duo were recently nominated in the 'Artist of the Year' 2022 category in the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMA). The awards will be revealed on August 6.



New shows and tours:


Jaguar Jonze - 'Darwin Festival'

Date and location: 12 August 2022, INPEX Sunset Stage, Festival Park, Darwin


Jaguar Jonze has had a busy month. She released her highly anticipated debut album, 'BUNNY MODE' in June and then embarked on shows across the country.


She will now be heading to the top end as part of the Darwin Festival on August 12. You can get tickets here.


Jaguar has also been nominated in the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) Awards in the Independent Song of the Year category for 'WHO DIED AND MADE YOU KING?'. The ceremony will take place at the Freemasons Hall, in Adelaide, on Thursday 4 August 2022.



Jessica Mauboy - 'Brisbane Festival Opening Night'

Date and location: 2 September 2022, South Bank Piazza, BOQ Festival Garden, Brisbane


Eurovision 2018 artist Jessica Mauboy takes to the stage in a stunningly re-imagined South Bank Piazza for the Festival's opening night in Brisbane.

The 'We Got Love' singer was recently nominated in the 'Artist of the Year' and 'Film Clip of the Year' (for 'Automatic') categories in the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMA). The awards will be revealed on August 6.



Charley - 'AltFest 2022'

Date and location: 3 September 2022, The Factory Theatre, 105 Victoria Rd, Marrickville NSW


The AltFest is a celebration of alternative and diverse music. Delivering artists who don’t subscribe to being defined by a single genre of music – instead blurring and pushing artistic and creative boundaries.


This year the line-up includes Cry Club, Abbe May, Marz and Australia Decides 2022 artist Charley. She is set to deliver a tear-jerking and awe-inspiring live performance. Get tickets to the show here.



Charley - 'Rebecca Black Live'

Date and location: 9 September 2022, Metro Social, Sydney


Rebecca Black is here, she’s queer and she’s coming to a city near you!! Yes Rebecca Black behind that viral hit 'Friday' is doing a show in Sydney where Charley will be a guest artist. The show will take place at the Metro Social on September 9. Get tickets to the show here.



Amy Sheppard - 'Country Music Raceday'

Date and location: 10 September 2022, Doomben Racecourse, Brisbane


Slip into your cowboy boots and hit the track on Country Music Raceday presented by Bundaberg Rum for a great day at the races with non-stop country music and live racing on the Doomben track.


One third of Sheppard from 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2019, Amy Sheppard, will be performing at the Country Music Raceday. She recently released her debut single 'Nothing But Wild', with her follow up single 'Blue Guitar' coming out on August 5.




Didirri - 'Road Trip'

Date and location: 17 & 18 September 2022, Queensland


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2020 artist Didirri has been announced as part of the line up of the 'Road Trip' music festival in Queensland. Celebrate the indie folk movement! You can book tickets to this event here.



Paulini - 'Queen's Wharf Disco Wonderland (Brisbane Festival)'

Date and location: 24 September 2022, Riverstage, Brisbane


Join Australia Decides diva Paulini and star of stage and screen Ben Mingay live with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dane Lam. Listen to hits from Michael Jackson, the Bee Gees, Earth Wind and Fire, through to Sister Sledge’s We are Family and Gloria Gaynor’s I will Survive plus much more.

Paulini - 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat'

Date and location: November 2022 in Melbourne, February 2023 in Sydney


Paulini and Euan Fistrovic Doidge are set to star in a dazzling new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. Paulini will star as The Narrator and Euan as Joseph.


The production has had a huge response on the West End and will now be coming to Australia. A Sydney season has now been announced and will commence at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney on 11 February 2023. Prior to the Sydney season, Joseph will open in Melbourne in November 2022, which will be the first staging of this newly reimagined production outside of the UK. Get tickets to the shows here.
