Levi Díaz - 'Reír'
Lyrics: David Roma
Music: David Roma
Levi Díaz has had a big year! He won ‘The Voice Kids Spain’ and then was selected as Spain seventh participant at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The youngster hails from Barcelona and idolises Frank Sinatra. He hopes to one day be able to match Sinatra's tone, voice and rhythm. He also enjoys listening to Rosalía and Netta. Levi has only discovered his passion for singing in the last couple of years but soon realised that pop was his favourite genre.

The comments
'Reír' has grown on me hugely since I first heard it. The verses are great, Levi seems very charismatic, and the slow build through the verses really gets me pumped. I do think, however, that the chorus is slightly to heavy on lyrics - at some point, you've got to have the catchy hook which people will remember. Still, this is packed with good vibes and has decent production - I actually think Spain is underrated at Junior Eurovision this year! ~ Craig
Spain always deliver great Junior Eurovision entries! The song is broken up so nicely that the three minutes go by so quickly that you want to hear it again. I see another top 5 finish for Spain! ~ Kyriakos
This is fun and anthemic. It gives me Sheppard vibes with a bit of a Spanish flair. If Levi brings a Miki-style party to the stage, it could work wonders on the scoreboard! ~ Laura
This is a really solid effort from Spain. Nice song, nice performance, but unfortunately it doesn't really go anywhere for me so becomes a little forgettable even though I can appreciate it's good! ~ Dale
This song has a really good beat to it and the vocals are really great from Spain this year, but the song is also a bit repetitive and it doesn't really encourage me to vote for it. ~ Tim
Spain at Junior Eurovision
Spain made their big return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 after a 13-year hiatus. They participated at Junior Eurovision from 2003 to 2006, winning the contest in 2004, and placing second in 2003 and 2005. After coming fourth in 2006, Spain withdrew from the 2007 Junior Contest, stating that "the Junior Eurovision promotes stereotypes we do not share". Since their return Spain finished in third place twice with ‘Marte’ by Melani García and 'Palante' by Soleá.
