Voyager share update on shows, Danny's health and new TV show on people's love for cars

Australia's Eurovision 2023 stars Voyager shared an update on front man Danny Estrin's cancer battle and their plans for new shows.


This week it was also revealed that Danny is working on a new TV show on people's love for cars


In a video posted to social media, Danny spoke about his cancer battle.


"The good news on the health front is that the cancer is under control," he said.


"It's been two years since diagnosis and I am still here despite the odds...


"The bad news is that the side effects are still full on... I am still doing chemo therapy once every couple of weeks."




Upcoming shows


Due to Danny ongoing battle the band are not able to tour in the traditional sense but do have various single shows coming up.


Voyager are heading overseas to Euroblast for their only show outside of Australia for 2025. Euroblast is taking place in Cologne, Germany on 27 September 2025. Get tickets here: https://ffm.link/euroblast2025


The band have already confirmed their next show in Australia will be at the Froth & Fury Fest in Perth next year. It will take place on January 24, 2026 at Perth HPC in Mount Claremont. In today's update Voyager revealed that they are set to perform at ProgPower USA 2026 next year. The band will be performing on Day 4 of the event on September 12, 2026. Get more info here: https://progpowerusa.com/



Danny's new car TV show


Over the week, it was revealed that Danny is currently working on a television show about people's love affairs with their cars. The news came during an encore episode of Danny's ABC radio show and podcast Conversations, where host Sarah Kanowski shared the update.


"He [Danny] was really excited to tell us about the TV show he is working on exploring people's love affairs with their cars".
