Spotify and YouTube rankings of Eurovision 2019 songs



Over the last few weeks we have taken a look at all play counts and views on Spotify and YouTube of all the Eurovision songs year by year since Australia’s debut in 2015 to 2020, to see which songs have been most popular with listeners and watchers.

Last week we looked at how the Eurovision 2018 songs ranked on Spotify and YouTube. Today we look at how Kate Miller-Heidke's epic performance of 'Zero Gravity' fairs against all the other Eurovision 2019 songs on Spotify and YouTube.


Before we begin with the full list of songs with combined play counts and views we will take a look at the current top 10 on Spotify and YouTube. Also in brackets we have shown the songs final placing at Eurovision.

All play counts and views were collated on April 24 2021 (Australian time).

Out of the songs from Eurovision 2019 the winner of the contest Duncan Laurence with 'Arcade' takes the crown for the most streamed song on Spotify and YouTube. 'Arcade' has become the most streamed Eurovision song on Spotify ever, with now over 300 million streams, you can read more about the songs most recent feats here.

The biggest jump into the top 10, compared to their Eurovision final placing, is Spain's 'La venda' by Miki. It ranks in 6th place in our list compared to finishing in last place in the 22nd spot at the Eurovision final.


The highest ranked entry from semi final 1 in our list is Portugal's 'Telemóveis' by Conan Osiris, which came in at 23rd spot in our ranking. At Eurovision the song failed to qualify to the final and came in 15th place in its semi final.



The highest placed song from the semi final 2 is the Armenian entry 'Walking Out' by Srbuk. It may have finished in 16th place at Eurovision in semi final 2, but in our list it reached the 16th place, placing higher than three other songs that made it to the grand final.


Australia's entry, 'Zero Gravity' has faired well, just sitting out of the Top 10 of the most played Eurovision 2019 songs on Spotify and most viewed Eurovision 2019 entries on YouTube. It came in at an overall place of 12th in our overall ranking.
