Sheldon has done it!

Australia's Sheldon Riley has made it through to the Eurovision 2022 Grand Final in Turin!

Sheldon qualified with his entry 'Not The Same' from semi-final 2 along with nine other acts, check out all the qualifiers here.

This is Australia's sixth appearance at a Eurovision Grand Final and fifth qualification from a semi-final. Last year Australia unfortunately had their first non-qualification in Rotterdam.

Sheldon will now compete in the Grand Final on Sunday 15 May, 5am (AEST) Australian time.

Australia made their debut at Eurovision in 2015 when Guy Sebastian competed directly in the Grand Final in Vienna with the song 'Tonight Again'. Australia competed as part of the Contest's 60th anniversary. Guy went on to finish in an impressive 5th place.

Australia were invited back yet again the following year in Stockholm were Dami Im competed with the song 'Sound of Silence'. She managed to win her semi-final and then in the Grand Final took out the No.1 spot with the jury votes and finish in an overall runner-up spot in the Contest. It is our best result in the Contest ever.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Australian broadcaster SBS confirmed that Australia will be competing at Eurovision until 2023.
