Eurovision star Dami Im collaborates with Yirrmal on new song 'Promised Land'

Australian Eurovision royalty Dami Im has featured on a new track, by singer-songwriter Yirrmal, called 'Promised Land'.

The soulful blues song is sung by the pair in English and in indigenous language by Yirrmal.

'Promised Land' moves in smooth progression where their vocals compliment each other so eloquently to create something very sincere and honest.

Yirrmal Marika, is the grandson of the former lead singer of Yothu Yindi, Dr M Yunupingu, who grew to fame with their anthemic 1991 indigenous language song 'Treaty'.

'Promised Land' made its way to Triple J Unearthed on 12 August 2022 where it was positively received. It is the first collaboration from both Yirrmal and Dami.

The song was produced by Andrew Farriss, the main composer and keyboardist from the Aussie rock band, INXS. It is expected to be taken off Yirrmal's self-titled debut album, which is also produced by Andrew and is excepted to be released later in the year.

A few months ago Dami revealed details on her upcoming autobiography 'Dreamer'. It is set to be released on October 26 2022 and is now available for pre-order!

‘Promised Land’ is available for download and streaming on all music platforms.
