It has been 11 years since Australia joined and first participated at Eurovision.
In that time, Australia actually did relatively well in the beginning scoring great sets of points from the televoting public in the Eurovision Grand Finals.
However, where do we rank overall in that time?

It is without a doubt that Italy are the televote juggernaut of the last 11 years!
Italy finished in the top 10 televote 9 times (9 times!!) and won the televote in 2015 thanks to Il Volo's Grande amore and in 2021 with Måneskin's Zitti e buoni. The only two songs to miss out on the televote top 10 was Francesca Michielin's No Degree of Separation which finished in 18th place in 2016 and this year's entry - Sal Da Vinci with Per sempre sì.
Other observations
In the televote rankings Australia comfortably in the top 20 in 17th place with 610 points. While a large amount of these televotes were awarded to Australia in the late 2010s, Australia did do well this year with Delta making up 122 of these points. Australia finished in the televote top 10 on four occasions, in 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2026. Australia's best televote result was in 2016 where Dami Im finished in 4th place and came second in the overall contest with Sound of Silence.
Some of the EBU nations who scored lower in the overall rankings are primarily due to them no longer participating in the Eurovision Song Contest (i.e. Hungary, Belarus etc).
