It has been 11 years since Australia joined and first participated at Eurovision.Â
In that time, Australia has been awarded more than a few points from the participating juries in Eurovision Grand Finals.
However, where do we rank overall in that time?
We've compiled a list of each country ranked 44th to 1st based on the number of total jury points awarded in Grand Finals. It is noted that some countries have taken absences from the Contest in the last 11 years, including five in 2026.

3. Australia: 1348 points
Australia’s highest single jury score was in 2016, with 320 points, when Dami Im finished second overall with her song Sound of Silence. She finished agonisingly close to winning, just 23 points behind Jamala from Ukraine in the Grand Final.
2. Italy: 1783 points
Il Volo, the operatic pop trio from Italy received 292 jury points in the 2015 Grand Final for their song Grande Amore. They placed 3rd overall in the final behind Måns Zelmerlöw from Sweden.
1. Sweden: 2148 points
Måns Zelmerlöw from Sweden received 365 Jury points in the 2015 Grand Final for his song Heroes. These points were sufficient for him to be the winner of the Eurovision 2015. Loreen also won the jury with 340 points on the way to her victory in Liverpool in 2023.
It is a pretty amazing effort by Australia to rank in third place overall with Eurovision Grand Final jury points, especially as we have failed to qualify for the Grand Final now on three occasions!
