Australia's Eurovision 2026 artist Delta Goodrem has continued her Eurovision promotion in the United Kingdom, where she appeared on ITV's This Morning.

The morning show television appearance comes after she was seen on BBC's The One Show two days ago.

On This Morning, Delta Goodrem discussed her Eurovision journey, as well as talking about her friendship with fellow Eurovision 2026 contestant Boy George, the beginning of her career, her stint on Neighbours, and her upcoming album and tour.

When asked by This Morning host Ben Shephard if she was ready for a "Eurovision extravaganza", Delta replied:

"I am so pumped and ready for Eurovision! We've just started getting a part of the family of Eurovision this week; we had the pre-parties and I feel very grateful for everyone welcoming me into the Eurovision family."

When fellow host Cat Deeley asked about her approach to Eurovision and whether she feels any nerves about the competition, Delta answered:

"It feels like a celebration! I'm really excited to be able to be over here and get to share new music, and again it's such an iconic stage that the fact that my north stars of Celine Dion and Olivia Newton-John, or Lulu [...] I feel really grateful to just bring the song [to Eurovision] and bring it to life on the stage, and you get to discover all these amazing artists that I've already met and bonded with, and I've just really enjoyed it."

Delta Goodrem also talked about her involvement with the preview parties around Europe and the Eurovision fan community.

"That part I didn't know much about prior to this, so being in Australia, obviously, being a little bit further away, it would air in the very early mornings, but last year I was doing a couple of shows here in the UK, so I got to experience it in real time. But [at] the pre-parties, you get to sing the song, you get to meet the community that really dive into every song of Eurovision, so it definitely questions my songwriting, you know, when everyone dissects your song. Me and the producers and writers have been like 'oh we've never experienced that dissection', it's really fun, it's enjoyable."

The pop music superstar also shared her thoughts on what her Eurovision performance will look like in Vienna:

"Yeah they [Eurovision performances] have to be [grand], we're going to Eurovision! So we have to bring it! Go big! My mind goes wild and then I'll see what is achievable and I'll give it [my] all and represent my home country!"

Delta also addressed fellow The Voice Australia coach Boy George being a part of San Marino's Eurovision entry this year.

"Boy George and I worked as coaches for many years on The Voice Australia, so we have a lot of fun, and I mean, he's an icon as well! How incredible to be a part of this as well, celebrating individuality, creativity, joy... so I'm very excited to have my friend there!"

When asked by This Morning's hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley if she had a bet on with Boy George about who will do better at the Contest, Delta responded that the pair "always have good banter", and outlined what she would do if she won Eurovision for Australia, saying: "If Australia was to ever take it we can still do a deal with [the United Kingdom] about having it, so I'm just saying [...] if I can bring Eurovision to the UK. I am negotiating [for votes]!"

So what's next for Delta after Eurovision? The Eclipse singer said:

"I mean, the new music, the album, touring, getting to spend more time over here is so wonderful, I've just loved that so much these past couple of years. And yeah, wherever the music and life takes us, we will roll with it."

Delta Goodrem last appeared on This Morning in 2023 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album Innocent Eyes, as well as discussing her time on Neighbours and interactions with fans on the London Underground.
