Australia has made a steep rise in the odds to win Eurovision 2026 after reports that Delta Goodrem would represent the nation.

The news reported by us yesterday from Woman's Day has fans in Australia and across the world talking.

The 41-year-old singer has two decades of experience and multiple chart hits in Australia and Europe.

The possibility of a well-established artist such as Delta has seen Australia rise from 15th to 11th in the matter of 12 hours.

At the beginning of 2026, Australia sat 28th in the odds. An SBS teaser earlier this month saw a small lift, but the Delta reports have now pushed Australia to the edge of the Top 10.

The Australian betting market has us even higher, in 9th place.

Finland currently leads the odds ahead of Greece, Israel and Sweden. The Australian market also has Denmark in that top five.
