OGAE Australia revealed the city-by-city vote results break down in the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2026.

OGAE Australia has revealed how fans across the country voted at their Eurovision 2026 preview parties, with clear differences emerging between cities.

The results went towards the annual OGAE Poll, which tallies votes from all official Eurovision fan clubs across the world.

Here’s how every city ranked their Top 10, with some key differences

Sydney

  1. Finland — 471

  2. Cyprus — 380

  3. Denmark — 356

  4. Greece — 355

  5. Sweden — 335

  6. Malta — 271

  7. France — 227

  8. Bulgaria — 217

  9. Moldova — 174

  10. Italy — 148

Sydney gave Finland its highest score of any city by a distance. Malta’s 6th place was the strongest result across all cities, helped no doubt by Aidan's appearance at the event.

Italy only appears in Sydney and Brisbane, and is absent from both Melbourne and Perth.

Moldova is lower here than in every other city, while Cyprus received its best result, finishing 2nd.

Melbourne

  1. Greece — 443

  2. Finland — 370

  3. Sweden — 363

  4. Cyprus — 329

  5. Denmark — 290

  6. Moldova — 262

  7. Bulgaria — 215

  8. France — 196

  9. Malta — 194

  10. Norway — 190

Melbourne bucked the trend of the Finnish victories, with Greece taking out the win.

Denmark in 5th was the lowest of all cities, while Moldova records its second-highest ranking here after Perth.

Melbourne was only one of two cities to give Norway points, perhaps because Jonas Lovv looks very much like an inner-city local barista.

Perth

  1. Moldova — 202

  2. Finland — 177

  3. Greece — 141

  4. Denmark — 137

  5. Bulgaria — 132

  6. Cyprus — 110

  7. Sweden — 93

  8. France — 89

  9. United Kingdom — 74

  10. Norway — 73

Perth went out there and voted Moldova their winner, quite the result!

It was the only city to include the United Kingdom in its Top 10 and had Bulgaria highest in 5th.

Cyprus and Sweden (6th and 7th, respectively) finished lower in Perth than any other city.

Brisbane

  1. Finland — 274

  2. Denmark — 206

  3. Sweden — 200

  4. Greece — 185

  5. Cyprus — 144

  6. Italy — 111

  7. Moldova — 110

  8. Bulgaria — 97

  9. France — 88

  10. Germany — 70

Brisbane gave Finland just its second city win and placed Sweden equal-highest in 3rd.

It was one of only two cities to include Italy in its Top 10 and the only one to include Germany.

Australia overall

  1. Finland — 853

  2. Denmark — 678

  3. Greece — 650

  4. Sweden — 574

  5. Cyprus — 514

  6. Moldova — 418

  7. Bulgaria — 342

  8. Malta — 334

  9. France — 313

  10. United Kingdom — 256
