Alex Canion and Danny Estrin from Voyager have appeared on a new album released yesterday.
The pair are from Australia's Eurovision 2023 entry Voyager, who finished 9th with Promise.
They both supply vocals on the album Kolaps by Slovenian artist NeuroWulf.
NeuroWulf is the alter ego of Slovenian artist Andrej Vovk.
Andrej performs as a number of artists:
NeuroAxis [ambient / downtempo]
Neurotech [metal / electronic]
NeuroWulf [trance / futurepop]
Danny from Voyager introduced Neurotech to Alex while preparing for Liverpool last year.
"Danny showed me Neurotech last year when we were in Spain for Eurovision pre-party engagements," Alex said on Instagram.
"We started binging his music and it almost immediately scratched a music itch I've had for the better part of 15 years. It's like I had finally discovered the music I'd been wanting to hear but could never find."
The band reached out to Andrej to produce a remix of Promise which was released in June 2023.
He returned the favour, asking Danny and Alex to appear on his upcoming album.
" I was so excited to do this and put a lot of effort into delivering the best I could, and I'm really happy with the result," Alex said.
"I've never really heard my voice on top of this kind of electronic music before, so this is so awesome to have on the resume."
While Danny also shared an update on his Instagram, saying:
"Love this artist. Love synths. Feels good to put some vocals on a track."
The boys appear on the songs Victories Undone (Danny) and Departure (Alex)
