Estonia's Eesti Laul 2027 artists revealed

Estonian broadcaster ERR has announced the names of the artists competing in the 2027 edition of their Eurovision national selection show Eesti Laul.
This announcement was made on Estonian TV show Ringvaade, where on Thursday night European time, the names of the 12 songs and artists competing in the final were revealed.
In addition to the artist announcement, the titles of the songs hoping to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria, were also released.
12 songs were chosen from 155 entries submitted to the competition by a 40-member professional jury, who voted on the songs without knowing the artists or songwriters.
This jury featured some famous Estonian Eurovision stars, including Alika, who came eighth representing Estonia in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with her song Bridges, as well as other Estonian Eurovision artists, including Getter Jaani (2011), Ott Lepland (2012), and Jüri Pootsmann (2016).
Of the songs submitted to the Eesti Laul 2027 competition, 60 are in Estonian and 95 are in other languages, including English. In addition to Estonian authors, songs have been submitted from 20 countries, including not only other European nations, but also the US and Australia.
Former Eurovision artists
Among the lineup are some big names, including former Eurovision act Laura.
Laura represented Estonia twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, first as part of the girl group Suntribe at the 2005 Contest in Kyiv, with their entry Let's Get Loud failing to advance to the final.
She then took part in Eurovision 2017, also in Kyiv, as part of a duet with fellow Estonian Eurovision artist Koit Toome. Their song Verona finished in 14th place in the semi-final.
Laura will compete in the Eesti Laul 2027 final with the song Metsapiiga.
Also announced as part of the lineup this year is Kerli Kivilaan, who represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 as part of Vanilla Ninja.
At the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, the band's entry Too Epic To Be True finished in 11th place in the semi-finals in Vienna.
Kerli Kivilaan will take part in the Eesti Laul 2027 final with the song When The War Is Over.
Stig Rästa, who represented Estonia at Eurovision in 2015 as part of the duet with Elina Born, Goodbye to Yesterday, is taking part in Eesti Laul 2027 as part of the band Traffic, who have participated in the Estonian national selection on seven previous occasions.
The band will hope to be victorious at Eesti Laul 2027 with their entry Laava.
