Alexander Ryback - Rise

He's Ry-BACK again! Returning in hopes of representing Norway for a 3rd time, Alexander Rybak returns to Melodi Grand Prix for the first time in eight years. Back in 2009 Rybak won Eurovision with his song Fairytale which at the time finished with more points than any other song in the contests history. Nine years later he returned to Eurovision with That's How You Write A Song which won it's semi-final and finished 15th place in the grand final.

Alexander has previously mentioned being inspired by legendary Norwegian singer, Jahn Teigen who competed in MGP a whopping thirteen times, for wanting to keep returning to Norway's selection show.

Mileo - Frankenstein

Mileo is a Norwegian-Australian singer who was born Sydney, Australia. His father was born in Oslo, Norway and his mother is from Sydney, Australia. He grew up between Oslo and Sydney. In 2013, Mileo signed with Sony Music Entertainment and released his debut single Echo the following year. He has released several singles since.

He competed in Melodi Grand Prix 2024 with You're Mine which did have some controversy due to the lyrics. Mileo unfortunately didn't qualify from his semi-final. After releasing his latest EP The Birth of a Villian, he is returning to the MGP stage once again, this time with Frankenstein.

Silke - Forevermore

Music producer and artist from Kragerø, Silke rose to notoriety back in 2021 with her breakout track Cold. Eurovision fans will know her as the female vocal on fan favourite Melodi Grand Prix 2023 entry Ekko inni meg which placed 5th. Now Silke is making her debut as an artists at MGP with her own track Forevermore

Emma Gunnarsen - Northern Light

17-year-old Pop singer and Norwegian social media star, Emma Gunnarsen may be a new name to Eurovision fans, but Emma has strong ties to the contest as her older brothers Marcus & Martinus represented Sweden in 2024 with Unforgetable. Emma released her first single at only eight years old, and since signed a record deal with Sony Music and garnered over a quarter of a million followers on Instagram.

Hedda Mae - Snap Back

Hailing from Bergen, Hedda Mae describes her sound as "when you open a fresh pack of gum, thinking it´s tutti frutti flavoured, but it turns out to be mint-strawberry chocolate chip with a hint of jalapenos. Spicy." Hedda has a unique ability to take sounds of music from the 60s to the 90s and manage to create contemporary and fresh tracks that fit in today's scene.

Jonas Lovv - Ya Ya Ya

Fresh off Norway's The Voice 2025, Jonas is debuting at MGP with his song Ya Ya Ya. After making it to the Semi-finals, Jonas has since been touring Norway and showing the country is killer live peformance skills. Jonas also mentions fashion being one of his biggest artistic outlets where he tries to break gendered and sexualised clothing norms.

Leonardo Amor - Prayer

Another Voice Norway contestant, this time from the 2023 season of the show. Leonardo Amor is a Filipino singer and songwriter who moved to Norway to pursue a career in music back in 2020. Most recently, Leonardo graduated from the Lillehammer Institure of Music Production and Industries, deepening his expertise in songwriting and musical craft.

His entry Prayer is set to be the only ballad in this years lineup which will certainly make it stand out

Storm - Lullaby

Leo Davadi Sundli known as STORM is an up and coming artist described as the Norwegian metalscene's prodigy. At just 13 he released his very first EP completely produced on his own. Now he's ready to step up even further and compete in hopes to represent the nation with Lullaby.
