New music and tour news from Australian Eurovision artists: October 2022



Today we look back at all the latest music releases, videos, shows and upcoming tours from Australian Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ artists throughout October.


New music


Sheldon Riley - ‘Never Enough - Live Version’

Released: 6 October 2022


Sheldon Riley released his highly anticipated rendition of ‘Never Enough’ from his performance on 'The Masked Singer Australia'.


The 2022 Eurovision star wowed audiences with his cover of ‘Never Enough’ while competing disguised as a snap dragon. He impressed audiences with his powerful vocals. His performances were heavily used in the 'The Masked Singer Australia' promos. He finished in an impressive runner-up place! Read all about the release here.



Johnny Manuel - ‘Younger Skin’ EP

Released: 7 October 2022


Eurovision 2018 artist, Johnny Manuel, who represented Bulgaria as part of the group Equinox, has released his debut EP 'Younger Skin'.


Johnny is a queer singer-songwriter who now calls Australia home. In 2020 Johnny competed on The Voice Australia where he was close to taking The Voice Australia title, narrowly beaten by Team Kelly Rowland’s Chris Sebastian.


Produced by Aidan Laprete, from Amazon’s 'The Wilds', 'Younger Skin' is Johnny’s first-ever solo project. Read all about the new EP release here.



Olivia Newton-John - ‘Phenomenal Woman’ EP

Released: 11 October 2022


Following the passing of the Eurovision 1974 star Olivia Newton-John a new EP has been released repackaging some of Olivia's great songs. The six track EP includes most notably the promotional 2005 single 'Phenomenal Woman', the 1994 single 'No Matter What You Do' and duets with Delta Goodrem and Cliff Richard. Jaguar Jonze - 'PUNCHLINE (Until Dawn Hyperpop Remix)'

Released: 14 October 2022


In October Jaguar Jonze secrectly released a new version of her single 'PUNCHLINE', the Until Dawn Hyperpop Remix. It is hyperpop at its best!! It is now available for download and streaming on all music platforms, check it out above.


Jaguar was also announced in the lineup for 2023 SXSW Music Festival in Texas! She will be joined by hundreds of artists including this years Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine. Read all about the news and get details on the event here.



Montaigne with Ninajirachi - 'One Long Firework in the Sky'

Released: 18 October 2022


The long awaited track 'One Long Firework in the Sky' by Ninajirachi has been released and features Eurovision 2021 artist Montaigne. Keen observers may recognise the song as Montaigne recorded the vocals live on her Twitch channel to her followers during 2021. Check it out!



Ella Hooper - 'Words Like These'

Released: 19 October 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2019 artist Ella Hooper has been releasing new music nonstop as she embarks on her 'The Old News Tour' across Australia. In October she released 'Words Like These' which out above. In September Ella released 'Achilles Heel', which you can check out here.

Jordan Anthony - 'Higher'

Released: 21 October 2022


Australia's 2019 Junior Eurovision representative Jordan Anthony has released his latest single 'Higher'. The track was written by the 17-year-old and produced by Khyle Demetriou.


Jordan performed 'Higher' live on Channel Seven's Telethon in Perth on October 23, 2022. Check out the performance here.
