Luxembourg reveal their Eurovision 2024 selection process

Luxembourg's broadcaster RTL has just released details of their selection process for Eurovision 2024, with a national final being held on 27 January 2024.

For artists who have songs to submit (they may submit up to three), they have until 1 October 2023.

Artists who don't have a song, can still nominate by sending in a video by 16 July 2023.

One of the stipulations is that the artist/s must hold Luxembourgish nationality or have lived there for at least three (consecutive) years OR hold a connection with the Luxembourg music industry.

Also allowed are local artists who may wish to collaborate with an international songwriter.

Other rules about the songs are as per normal, including the three minute rule, and songs can be sung in any language.

A panel of music experts will select a list of singers/groups to perform in the national selection on 27 January 2024, which will be broadcast by RTL.

Artists or songwriters who are interested in representing Luxembourg can register online at: www.eurovision.lu.

Luxembourg are returning to the Contest after a 30 year absence.
