Australia's Eurovision 2019 star has wowed audiences with her version of the classic Christmas carol O Holy Night.

She performed her rendition during Channel 7's live Carols in the Domain on Saturday, 20 December.

The show will be aired again at 7:00am on Christmas Day, and is also available on 7 plus which is now available on 7

A shared clip on social media saw hundreds of fans send overwhelming praise to the Zero Gravity singer.

Comments included:

  • I’m mesmerized by her voice, she has such a unique sound! The way she belts out the high notes is effortless, and the control she has is impressive. She truly brings this traditional carol to life!

  • Nailed it. Best rendition of "O Holy Night" I've seen, with good balance of choral support and musical composition.

  • She was amazing. Need to have her sing every year. I mean no one can be Marina Prior, but dang she was super close!

  • Absolutely EXQUISITE! It was my Nan's favourite carol and she would've loved this version.

  • I had goosebumps. She was divine.

Australia Decides Mark Vincent also praised

Also receiving compliments was Eurovision - Australia Decides artist Mark Vincent.

Not only did he perform saw classics, but he also led the tribute to the victims of the Bondi terrorist attack.

Mark competed with This is Not The End in the same Australia Decides year that saw Kate Miller-Heidke win her place at Eurovision.

Kate's other Christmas song

Kate has released her own Christmas song in the past that is VERY different from the Christmas classics.

We'll let you make your own mind up:

Kate’s rendition of O Holy Night was absolutely breathtaking—her vocal control and emotional delivery made this classic feel so fresh, and I even found myself watching the clip on my device with a pcbportugal inside, marveling at how clear every note came through!
