Iceland's Eurovision queen Hera Björk performed at Melbourne's LGBTQIA+ carnival Midsumma on Sunday.

The annual day is part of the broader Midsumma Festival that Hera will be performing across.

The 2010 and 2024 Eurovision artist took to the stage on Sunday in front of thousands of revellers in attendance.

With the temperature reaching up to 33 degrees in the shade, it was certainly very conditions from Hera's homeland.

Hera is performing at the Pride of our Footscray Nightclub & Bar all week as part of both the Midsumma Festival and her Queen of Effing Everything national tour.

In addition, tonight, she will literally be Queen of the Ice as she performs with Ice Skating Victoria as a fundraiser for young ice skaters from diverse backgrounds who face financial hardship.

The show will see Hera singing in the middle of an ice rink accompanied by local skaters on the ice performing to Eurovision songs.

Earlier in the week, she showcased her incredible vocals on radio station JOY 94.9.

You can catch Hera across Australia!
