'Eurovision - Australia Decides' wins big at Asian Academy Creative Awards

'Eurovision - Australia Decides' has taken out two awards at the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards.


The program took out the Best Music Show and Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Show for Blink TV and SBS.



The awards are open to Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

On winning the award Paul Clarke from Blink TV thanked all those involved,


"We have to thank Eurovision, we have to thank the network and.... we have to really thank the artists for committing to Eurovision, we really want to thank the creatives involved," he said.


Australia has also taken out awards for Best Visual/Special FX in TV / Feature Films with 'Elvis', Best documentary program for 'Osher Günsberg: A Matter Of Life And Death', preschool program for 'Bluey' and the award for single news story/report with 'Unfinished Symphony' form Network 10's 'The Project'.


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' was also nominated for Best Entertainment Program at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTAs) losing out to Lego Masters.


Australia's Eurovision national selection show won't return to screens in 2023, with our entrant to be internally selected.
