Eurovision - Australia Decides artists to perform on New Year's Eve

Although New Year's Eve will see many Eurovision fans tuning in for the annual ESC 250 countdown, Australians also have ABC's annual New Year's Eve concert to look forward to.


Casey Donovan (2020) who backs up after appearing at 'Carols by Candlelight' earlier this week will be performing at the show, broadcast live from Sydney Opera House’s Northern Boardwalk.


Superstar Robbie Williams will headline the show which will also feature Australian supergroup Fanning Dempsey National Park (Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey), DJ Cyril, Korean-Australian rap crew 1300, 2024 ARIA Awards Best Hip Hop / Rap Release winner Nooky of 3%, American country music singer Randy Houser, rising R&B star Becca Hatch, plus 2024 ARIA Awards Song of the Year winner G Flip.


2018 Australian jury member Zan Rowe will host along with Charlie Pickering and triple j Breakfast host Concetta Caristo.

The NYE 2024 concert begins at 8.30pm on 31st December with live music kicking off at 9.10pm. The show will be broadcast across the entire ABC network including ABC TV, local ABC Radio and live on ABC iview and across ABC TV+iview social channels. International audiences can also tune in via ABC Australia.


Other Eurovision - Australia Decides performing on New Year's Eve include Paulini (2022) who is appearing as part of Melbourne's New Year’s Eve (& The Day Before) Gala Concert on 30 & 31 December at Hamer Hall.


Fans can also catch the New Year's Eve set of Jaguar Jonze (2020, 2022) at Queensland's Woodford Folk Festival.


And if you're in the UK, you can see Courtney Act (2019) performing as the Blue Faerie in the Alhambra Theatre's pantomime The Adventures of Pinocchio in Bradford.
