Local Eurovision fans are set for an exciting few months with a swag of past contestants coming to our shores to play live.

With the exception of last year's worldwide Eurovision On Tour showcase hitting the East Coast, there hasn't been a period in recent memory when so many past acts have decided to include Australia in their respective tours. They include the frontman of a former winning group, a UK music legend, some rockier fan favourites from the Scandi nations (and Germany), and our most recent local flag-bearer.

Here's your ultimate guide to who's playing near you soon.

Montaigne

(Australia, 2020 &2021)

ree

Australian art-pop singer and songwriter, Montaigne, was selected to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song Don't Break Me, but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They returned in 2021 to compete with the song Technicolour. They performed remotely from Australia due to ongoing travel restrictions, marking the first time an act competed in Eurovision without being physically present at the host venue.

Montaigne is going strong embarking on an Australian tour, it's hard to be a fish tour, starting this month. They will also head to Europe later in the year to join the Icelandic Eurovision star Dadi Freyr on his tour across the continent.

Thursday 31 July - The Brightside, Brisbane

Friday 1 August - Howler, Melbourne

Saturday 9 August - Mary's Underground, Sydney

Go-Jo

(Australia, 2025)

ree

Our Eurovision representative from this year's contest in Basel is embarking on his homecoming-of-sorts tour around the country from next week, before he heads back to Europe for more shows there. Joining him as support acts is popular Australian Idol 2024 finalist Ripley Alexander and alternative atmospheric artist Corrj.

The tour has proven local fans want a taste of the Milkshake Man - his upgraded Sydney show is sold out, as is his first show in Melbourne and his Brisbane gig. You can still get tickets to his early matinee show in Melbourne and his Perth performance.

Friday 1 August Oxford Art Factory, Sydney (SOLD OUT)

Saturday 2 August – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne (Matinee show, 3pm)

Saturday 2 August – Northcote Social Club, Melbourne (SOLD OUT) Saturday 9 August – Rosemount Hotel, Perth

Sunday 17 August – The Bridghtside, Brisbane (SOLD OUT)

Smash Into Pieces

(Sweden, Melodifestivalen 2023 and 2024)

ree

Smash Into Pieces are yet to make it to the Eurovision stage, but they have a worldwide following which was aided by their back-to-back third-place finishes in Sweden's national contest Melodifestivalen in 2023 (Six Feet Under) and 2024 (Heroes Are Calling).

The band will be coming to Australia's east coast next month for the first time as part of their ArmaHeaven Prophecy world tour. It's been billed as an "apocolyptic live show" focusing on the rise of AI and its impact on the world.

TOUR DATES:

Friday 22 August  Stay Gold, Melbourne

Saturday 23 August Mary's Underground, Sydney

Sunday 24 August  The Brightside, Brisbane

Tickets: OzTix and Moshtix (Sydney)

Damiano David

(Italy, 2021)

ree

David is the frontman of Måneskin, the Italian band who triumphed in Rotterdam in 2021 with Zitte e Buoni, and have since gone on to be worldwide megastars. He was last here with the band in 2023 when they did sell-out shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. This time he's performing his solo show in Melbourne and Sydney.

In solo mode, David is touring his album Funny Little Fears, which he released in May and has spawned the singles Silverlines and Born With A Broken Heart. His solo material is a more poppy departure from his band's rock roots.

TOUR DATES: Wednesday 22 October Enmore Theatre, Sydney Friday 24 October The Forum, Melbourne (SOLD OUT)

Tickets: Ticketek

Sir Cliff Richard

(UK, 1968 and 1973)

ree

Still going strong at 84, this UK legend has some big Eurovision roots. He represented the UK on two occassions - finishing runner-up on home turf in 1968 with Congratulations, and then getting another podium finish in 1973 when he finished third in Luxembourg with Power To All Our Friends. While its unlikely he'll include those in his setlist, those who want a massive trip down memory lane can catch him in his first Australian tour in 12 years this November.

(Finland, 2022)

ree

Best known for their 2003 hit In The Shadows, one of Finland's biggest rock exports competed in the 2022 contest with their entry Jesabel. After all this time, they're finally coming to Australia for their first ever local shows in early 2026, promoting their 11th studio album Weirdo which will be released in September.

Their shows have become acclaimed for their overwhelming energy, theatrical visuals and the deep connection they foster with their fans.
