Swedish rockers and two-time Melodifestivalen contestants Smash Into Pieces have announced Australian live shows as part of their ArmaHeaven Prophecy world tour.

The band will play three club shows on the east coast in late August, starting in Melbourne before heading to Sydney and Brisbane.

Along with standard tickets, mega fans can also grab a VIP upgrade which includes early access to merchandise, a meet and greet with the band, a photo with them, a signed poster and more.

Smash Into Pieces consist of frontman Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye, guitarists Benjamin Jennebo and Per Bergquist, and masked drummer APOC.

They also tour with an extra live guitarist, Emanuel Magnil. They formed back in 2008 and have eight albums to their name, the latest being Ghost Code, which they released in April 2024.

While they have yet to make it to the Eurovision stage, the band are probably best known to Eurovision fans for their efforts competiting in Sweden's national selection contest Melodifestivalen in recent years.

They achieved two podium finishes in consecutive years - the first being with Six Feet Under in 2023.

They finished third in the grand final behind Markus And Martinus' Air and Loreen's Tattoo.

The band returned to the contest last year in 2024 with their entry Heroes Are Calling.

They won their heat and qualified directly for the grand final, where they again finished third behind Medina's Que Sera and Markus and Martinus' Unforgetabble.

The band are now touring an "apocalyptic live show" called ArmaHeaven Prophecy, promising a high-intensity experience of music and stunning visuals.

"In the world of ArmaHeaven, a new reality is born through AI – only to be threatened by the very force that created it," so the story goes.

"The prophecy has been written... but it can still be altered. This is more than a concert. It’s a message. A warning. A choice ... The ninth chapter begins now. Join the movement. Alter the prophecy."
