Eurovision favourites Joost Klein and Käärijä have teamed up once again, releasing their latest collaboration Hyvää Puuta.

The new track brings together two of Eurovision’s most recognisable personalities, with Joost representing the Netherlands at Eurovision 2024 with Europapa and Käärijä finishing as the runner-up for Finland in 2023 with

Cha Cha Cha.

The pair have released a music video for Hyvää Puuta.

A cover with surprise Eurovision connection

Käärijä has previously spoken about his love for the song and introduced it to Joost, with the pair now putting their own spin on the track.

Vesa-Matti Loiri competed at Eurovision 1980 in The Hague representing Finland with the song Huilumies.

He finished in last place with six points.

Loiri passed away in 2022 after a battle with cancer.

Joost and Käärijä's music video for Hyvää Puuta is dedicated to Loiri.

A Eurovision friendship

This isn't the first time Joost and Käärijä have joined forces.

The pair first collaborated on TRAFIK! in 2024, combining Joost's electronic and rap influences with Käärijä's distinctive style. The song was released shortly after Eurovision 2024 and quickly became a fan favourite.

Their collaboration continued in 2026 when they joined forces with Estonia's Eurovision 2025 representative Tommy Cash for the Boyband EP.

The three-track release featured I Miss Us, 2000 and Mass Destruction, with the artists drawing on everything from 1990s boybands and Eurodance to heavier rock influences.

Joost and Käärijä also took their collaboration to one of the world's biggest music festivals when they performed TRAFIK! together at Coachella in California in April 2026.

Their appearance came during Joost's historic Coachella run, with the Dutch artist becoming the first Dutch artist to perform at the festival.

Now, Hyvää Puuta gives fans another chance to hear the Eurovision duo together, continuing one of the most popular musical partnerships to emerge from the Contest in recent years.

Joost is heading to Australia in December as part of his World Tour.
