Overnight two important shows and polls talk place ahead of the live semi-final.
The first was the full dress rehearsal that only the media centre were able to view. This rehearsal does not have a crowd.
Following the show, a press poll was run by ESCXTRA where media representatives were ale to vote on their three favourite performances.
The results were:

The second show is the nighttime dress rehearsal that used to be the jury show. This is performed in front of a full crowd.
An audience poll was run by ESCInsight, ESCXTRA, the Euro Trip podcast, That Eurovision Site, 12 points from America podcast and OGAE Sweden.

The first semi-final takes place on Tuesday 7 May at 21:00 CEST which is Wednesday 8 May at 05:00 AEST in Australia.
