Canada's five Eurovision 2027 hopefuls have taken to the stage for live performances as they compete for the chance to represent their country at next year's contest in Bulgaria.

The artists performed during Horizon Eurovision, a special program broadcast by CBC/Radio-Canada on Sunday 1 November.

Each finalist delivered a 10-minute live set accompanied by musicians, giving audiences another opportunity to see what they could bring to the Eurovision stage.

The performances were hosted by Catherine Pogonat and Odario Williams and have since been broadcast across Canadian television and digital platforms.

Watch all five performances below.

Josiane

The Acadian singer-songwriter from New Brunswick, who won La Voix in 2020, is known for her powerful vocals and music in both French and English.

Rêve

The Juno Award-winning dance-pop artist from Montreal has built an international following with hits including CTRL + ALT + DEL and Whitney.

Tyler Shaw

The Canadian pop singer-songwriter is known for hits including Kiss Goodnight and With You, and has received multiple Juno Award nominations.

TALK

The Ottawa singer-songwriter rose to international prominence with his hit Run Away to Mars and won Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2024 Juno Awards.

William Cloutier

The Quebec singer-songwriter won Star Académie in 2021 and has established himself as a successful French-language pop artist and musical theatre performer.

How will Canada choose its Eurovision artist?

Canadian viewers have until Thursday 5 November at 11:59pm Pacific Time to vote for their favourite artist through CBC/Radio-Canada.

Each person can vote once per day, up to a maximum of 10 votes during the voting period.

The winning artist is expected to be announced by December, with their Eurovision entry to be selected afterwards.

The songs performed during Horizon Eurovision are not necessarily the songs that will compete at Eurovision.

Canada will make its Eurovision Song Contest debut in Burgas, Bulgaria, in May 2027, becoming the first new country to join the competition since Australia in 2015.
