Over the weekend Voyager did us proud by finishing 9th in the Eurovision 2023 Grand Final.

Voyager got Australia their third best placing at Eurovision, equal with Isaiah Firebrace and Kate Miller-Heidke.

Voyager managed to win their semi-final which was 100% televote, something Australia has accomplished for the first time. They achieved several milestones for Australia, check out in our Instagram post below:

Voyager released a statement on their social media channels about the Eurovision results.

EUROVISION - That was absolutely surreal! There aren't enough words to describe how we're feeling ❤️🙏

Who would have thought that an independent, progressive metal band from Perth, WA, would take a top 10 position at the world's biggest song contest?!! We are incredibly grateful for this absolutely WILD journey - we wouldn't have done this without you!

Oh and did we mention that WE WON Semi-Final 2?! Because we did, which makes it all even more SYNTHSATIONAL!!

THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!

WE LOVE YOU ALL 🫶

Voyager have been fantastic ambassadors of Australia, and Western Australia for the Contest!!

We at Aussievision would like to congratulate them on their significant achievements this Eurovision season!!!

You can check out our interview with members of Voyager's family ahead of the Grand Final below.
