An Australian Eurovision song was performed during the live finals of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
The show is an institution and one of the most popular TV programs in the country. The show was franchised across the world and appears as Dancing With the Stars in Australia.
When introducing the three finalists in the BBC's 2025 edition, Jessica Mauboy's 2018 Eurovision entry We Got Love was featured (watch below from 2:08 in).
The song was performed live during the event, so it wasn't Jessica's vocal on track.
There must be something about We Got Love and the Brits.
It was also used during a semi-final interval performance at the Liverpool contest in 2023 (watch from 4:34 in).
They were also one of only three nations to award Australia public vote points in the 2018 Grand Final.
So even though Jessica may have wanted to finish higher than 20th in Lisbon, her song has gone on to have a life of its own.

The game's rewarding challenge comes from the fact that players learn to rely on rhythm and muscle memory to advance, thanks to the Geometry Dash Full Version game's integration of sound and movement. The electronic music ups the ante, making players want to keep trying even after they've failed miserably at it.
