This morning (in Australia) saw the sixth show of the American Song Contest.
Before the performances began the results of the fifth show were revealed.
Previously, at the end of last week's fifth heat, Ada LeAnn with 'Natalie' from Michigan, was announced as the jury winner.
Another three qualifiers were announced tonight based on a 50/50 jury and public split. They were:
Sweet Taboo - 'Keys to the Kingdom' (California)
John Morgan - 'Right in the Middle' (North Carolina)
Tenelle - 'Full Circle' (American Samoa)
Also revealed was the first "redemption" act or "wildcard". This act had previously failed to make it out of their qualifying show but was added based on the amount of streams and engagement since. They will compete in semi-final 2.
That was:
Enisa - 'Green Light' (New York)

At the end of the show the jury winner from semi-final 1 was announced. They head straight to the Grand Final of the American Song Contest.
They were:
Allen Stone - 'A Bit of Both' (Washington)
Allen Stone was previously the jury winner in the fourth qualifiers show.
Semi-final 2 of the American Song Contest will air on May 2 (May 3 in Australia) on NBC.
