24 year old Yuval Raphael has won the talent show HaKokhav HaBa, and with it the right to represent Israel at this year's Eurovision in Basel.
Four artists competed in the final with cover songs, before Yuval and two others moved onto the superfinal. There Yuval won both the jury and public vote.
Yuval's Eurovision song will selected internally by a committee convened by the Israeli Eurovision broadcaster KAN.
