Australia has been competing at Eurovision for 10 years!

What was originally meant to be a one-off appearance in 2015 for the contest's 60th anniversary has turned into 10 appearances at Eurovision (11 entries overall when you include the cancelled contest in 2020).

To mark the occasion we ran a poll for a second year running to find out everyone's favourite Australian Eurovision entries - as voted by both Australian and international fans. Check out the results from last year's poll here.

204 voters ranked Australia's entries in a top 10 in the traditional Eurovision points format (1st = 12 points, 2nd = 10 points, 3rd = 8 points and 7-1 for positions 4-10).

In descending order, here are the overall results with the change in position compared to last year in brackets!

11. Isaiah Firebrace - Don't Come Easy (2017) - 449 points (down 1)

Isaiah was Australia’s third Eurovision representative in 2017, following Guy Sebastian and Dami Im. He successfully qualified from his semi-final and continued Australia’s streak of top 10 finishes by placing 9th in the Grand Final with 173 points in Kyiv, Ukraine.

10. Montaigne - Technicolour (2021) - 521 points (down 1)

Originally chosen to represent Australia in 2020, Montaigne returned in 2021 with a new song, Technicolour, after the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unable to travel to Rotterdam, she performed remotely from Sydney.

Unfortunately, Montaigne didn’t qualify for the Grand Final, marking the first time Australia missed out since joining Eurovision.

9. Sheldon Riley - Not The Same (2022) - 731 points (down 1)

Sheldon Riley won the last edition of Australia Decides and represented Australia at Eurovision 2022 in Turin, Italy. He impressed in semi-final 2, finishing second and easily qualifying for the Grand Final. There, he placed 15th overall with 125 points.

In our poll Not The Same is the 9th fan favourite Aussie Eurovision song.

8. Montaigne - Don't Break Me (2020) - 792 points (down 1)

Montaigne won the second Australia Decides in 2020 with Don't Break Me, originally set to be her Eurovision entry. However, the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the song never made it to the stage in Rotterdam. She returned in 2021 with a new entry, Technicolour.

In our poll fans have favoured Don't Break Me, which sits in 8th place, over Technicolour which is in 10th place.

7. Electric Fields - One Milkali (One Blood) (2024) - 864 points (down 1)

After winning hearts as fan favourites and finishing runner-up in the first Australia Decides, Electric Fields were chosen by SBS to represent Australia at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, Sweden.

Their powerful performance of One Milkali (One Blood) in semi-final 1 impressed many, but sadly, they just missed out on the Grand Final. They finished in 11th place, only six points short of qualifying.

6. Jessica Mauboy - We Got Love (2018) - 1036 points (down 1)

After first appearing in the 2014 Eurovision interval act in Copenhagen, Jessica Mauboy returned in 2018 as Australia’s official representative in Lisbon, Portugal.

She comfortably qualified from her semi-final, but in the Grand Final finished 20th with 99 points—hampered by a surprising result in the public vote, where she received just 9 points and placed last.

5. Go-Jo - Milkshake Man (2025) - 1107 points (new)

Go-Jo represented Australia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, with his energetic synthpop track Milkshake Man. The performance featured flamboyant theatrics, including giant blenders and dramatic costume changes, aiming to celebrate self-expression and individuality.

Despite the vibrant staging and catchy tune, Go-Jo did not qualify for the Grand Final. He finished 11th in the second semi-final with 41 points, marking Australia's second consecutive year of missing the final.

In our poll Go-Jo storms in as a huge favourite with the fan as the fifth most loved Aussie Eurovision entry!

4. Guy Sebastian - Tonight Again (2015) - 1291 points (-)

Guy Sebastian, the original Australian Idol, made history as Australia’s first Eurovision representative in 2015 when the country was invited as a special guest for the contest’s 60th anniversary in Vienna, Austria.

His standout performance of Tonight Again earned a 5th place with 196 points, including two sets of 12 points from Sweden and Austria. Guy’s strong showing helped pave the way for Australia to become a regular part of the Eurovision family.

3. Kate Miller-Heidke - Zero Gravity (2019) - 1548 points (down 1)

Despite dropping to third place in our fan poll, Zero Gravity remains one of Australia’s most iconic Eurovision performances. Kate Miller-Heidke wowed audiences in Tel Aviv with her stunning vocals and dramatic staging atop a bendy pole, earning the Marcel Bezençon Award for best staging.

She won her semi-final and was seen as a surprise contender to win it all, eventually finishing 9th in the Grand Final with 283 points, including top jury scores from Poland and Romania.

2. Voyager - Promise (2023) - 1626 points (up 1)

After winning the public vote at Australia Decides in 2022 but missing out on Eurovision, Voyager got their chance in 2023, representing Australia in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The band made history as the first Australian act to win a fully public-voted semi-final. Their energetic Grand Final performance of Promise earned them 9th place overall with 151 points, including top jury scores from Iceland and Portugal.

In our poll Voyager have jumped up a spot and are now fans second favourite Aussie Eurovision entry!

1. Dami Im - Sound Of Silence (2016) - 1879 points (-)

Dami Im, widely regarded as Australia's Eurovision queen, has once again topped the fan poll, winning by more than 250 points!

Her standout performance of Sound of Silence at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm remains a highlight in Australia's Eurovision history. That year, she won the second semi-final, Australia’s first time competing at that stage, and dominated the jury vote in the Grand Final, receiving twelve points from nine countries. Dami finished in second place, Australia's best result at the contest.

Breakdown of the results:

In our poll we asked fans if they were from Australia or from the rest of the world. 108 voters (53%) were from Australia and 96 voters (47%) from the rest of the world.
