Uku Suviste wins Eesti Laul and will represent Estonia at Eurovision 2021
Uku Suviste has won Eesti Laul with 'The Lucky One' to book his place at Eurovision 2021.
This is back-to-back wins for Uku after he won Eesti Laul in 2020 but was unable to perform in Rotterdam due to the cancelled contest.
He won the 100% Superfinal between himself, Sissi and Jüri Pootsmann.
The three advanced to the Superfinal after all 12 artists were scored with a 50% split of juries and televote. Koit Toome just missed the Superfinal.
'The Lucky One' was written by Uku himself with Sharon Vaughn who also worked on his 2020 song 'What Love Is'. Sharon has also written other Eurovision entries 'Waterline' in 2011, 'Scream' in 2019 and the Greek entry of 2020 'Superg!rl'
Estonia won Eurovision in 2001 and have made the Grand final two years running. They will be hoping Uku can make it third time lucky.
