Ukraine: TVORCHI wins Vidbir 2023



Ukraine has once again delivered an incredible edition of their national final 'Vidbir' where ten acts performed with the hope of being selected to represent Ukraine in Liverpool at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.


Whilst Ukraine is still in the midst of war, the national broadcaster went to extraordinary lengths to be able to stage 'Vidbir', with this edition taking place in a subway station-turned-bomb shelter.


Despite the circumstances, this years final was a smooth and high quality affair which saw dark-horse TVORCHI win it all and will go onto represent the nation in Liverpool.



The winning song, 'Heart of Steel' stood out with modern production and stellar staging. TVORCHI took top spot in the Televote scores and 2nd in Jury.

The show clocked in at a whopping four hours which included a documentary on the reigning Eurovision champions, Kalush Orchestra, during the voting window.


Other interval acts included performances from previous Eurovision entrants, Zlata, Jamala, and Verka Serduchka.


TVORCHI will now represent Ukraine at Eurovision in Liverpool.
