The shop on the Eurovision website is a much-loved feature for fans worldwide.
From shirts to hats, collectables and Christmas gifts, it's the one source of official merchandise.
However, in recent times, it's become a lot harder for fans outside Europe to buy goods with the website stating:
Please note: We no longer accept orders from addresses outside of Europe.
Australian fans, and others outside Europe, would need to find a third party to send to before shipping it on.
Even more alarmingly, Australian Eurovision fan Luke J Brighty-Wing Lun received an email on Tuesday, 21 October stating the shop would be shutting down entirely.
"As our shop will be closing at the end of this week, we are no longer able to ship outside of Europe. Unfortunately, this means we won’t be able to send orders to Australia anymore."
This sounded quite worrying for fans. Would the Eurovision shop actually close down without notice to fans?
Well, not entirely.
The team at Eurovision cleared this up for us.
"The shop is undergoing a crossover while it changes supplier," a spokesperson told us.
"There will be an interim period while this takes place, and a maintenance message will be displayed to inform customers of what's happening. If you check back next week, that message should be online as things switch over."
The current supplier, according to the Terms and Conditions of the shop, is Highlight Event AG based in Lucerne.
Their website states that "Highlight Event AG is responsible for the worldwide exploitation and delivery of marketing rights for the European Broadcasting Union."
So potentially, more changes other than the shop could be happening behind the scenes.
The news comes after a rebrand of the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year.
This was done ahead of the 70th edition with changes made expressing a "playful and elegant' brand direction with a 'digital first' approach.
The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna from 12 to 16 May 2026.
