Spain: Benidorm Fest 2024 semi-final 1 results

This morning, Spain held the first semi-final of their Eurovision selection show: Benidorm Fest.

Eight acts were competing with just four qualifying for this weekend's final.

The four qualifiers were:

• Nebulossa – 'Zorra' (149 points)

• Angy Fernández – 'Sé quién soy' (137 points)

• Sofia Coll – 'Here to Stay' (116 points)

• Miss Caffeina – 'Bla Bla Bla' (105 points)

While unfortunately, these acts missed out:

• Lérica – 'Astronauta'

• Noan – 'Te echo de -'

• Mantra – 'Me vas a ver'

• Quique Niza – 'Prisionero'

The voting was decided by a professional jury (50%), a demographic panel (25%) and televote (25%).

Mantra won the public vote but their poor jury and demoscopic votes cost them a qualifying place.

The second semi-final takes place Thursday evening (Friday AM in Australia).

The eight qualifiers will compete in Saturday's final (Sunday AM in Australia) to represent Spain at Eurovision.
