Senhit returns to Eurovision for San Marino

Sammarinese broadcaster SMRTV has just announced that Senhit will be representing San Marino at Eurovision 2020!

Although she started her career in musical theatre, Senhit previously competed in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf representing San Marino with the song ‘Stand By’.

The song placed 16th out of 19 songs in its semi final with 34 points, failing to qualify to the final.

This year, San Marino is holding an online selection process asking viewers to choose between two songs: ‘Freaky!’ and ‘Obsessed’.

These two songs have been described as being “full of electro pop energy and international sounds”. Senhit will sing the winning song in the first half of the second semi final at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam.

Viewers will have 48 hours to vote for their favourite song in this “digital battle”. Voting opens at 9:00am CET and closes on Sunday 8th March at 11:59pm CET. The winning song will be revealed on Monday 9th March.

The competing songs will be available from the following link from the time that the voting opens: http://www.senhit.com/eurovision
