Finnish electronic music icon Darude, who represented Finland at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with Look Away, is heading back to Australia.
Darude is best known for his massive late-90s dance floor anthem Sandstorm.
Look Away was Darude's entry for Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019Â in Tel Aviv, featuring vocals by Sebastian Rejman. The song failed to qualify for the Grand Final, finishing last (17th)Â in the first semi-final with just 23 points.
This is far from his first visit; Darude has previously toured Australia many times over his long career, including a global tour for his debut album, a headline slot at the Future Music Festival, and his most recent "Storm 25" tour in early 2025 where he celebrated his 25th career anniversary.
These newly announced dates will see his "HYPE Tour"Â across the country in early 2027 headlining the Dangerous Goods XXL festival series.
Details for the Dangerous Goods XXL festival are below with tickets available here:
Perth: Friday, 15 January 2027
Sydney: Saturday, 16 January 2027
Brisbane: Friday, 22 January 2027
Melbourne: Saturday, 23 January 2027
