OGAE Second Chance Contest 2024: Full line-up of competing songs


The competing entries in the OGAE Second Chance Contest have been revealed.
The competition sees each official fan club (eg OGAE Finland, OGAE Sweden, OGAE Germany etc) select a song that didn't win their national final to battle it out in a Eurovision-style contest.
OGAE Australia won't be competing this year as there was no 'Eurovision - Australia Decides.
Just 16 entries from 16 nations and clubs will be competing.
The entries are:
Croatia: MARCELA – Gasoline
Czechia: MYDY – Red Flag Parade
Denmark: Basim – Johnny
Estonia: OLLIE – My Friend
Finland: Sara Siipola – Paskana
Germany: Ryk – Oh Boy
Italy: Annalisa – Sinceramente
Lithuania: Shower – Impossible
Malta: ERBA’ – Sirena
Norway: KEiiNO – Damdiggida
Portugal: João Borsh – …Pelas costuras
San Marino (OGAE Rest of the World): Loredana – Pazza
Serbia: Konstrakta – Novo, bolje
Spain: Angy Fernandez – Sé quien soy
Sweden: Jacqline – Effortless
Ukraine: Ziferblat – Place I Call Home
The entries include two former winners of the OGAE Second Chance Contest. Annalisa from Italy won in 2018 for Il mondo prima de te and KEiiNO won in 2019 for Monument.
The competition has been running since 1987 with Sweden taking out last year's contest thanks to Marcus and Martinus with their entry Air.
Sweden has won the Second Chance Contest a staggering 19 times! As a result of their 2032 win, OGAE Sweden gets to "host" it this year.
Australia's best result was 4th in 2019 with Electric Fields and their song 2000 and Whatever.
