New music and tour news from Australian Eurovision artists: November 2022




Today we look back at all the latest music releases, videos, shows and upcoming tours from Australian Eurovision, Junior Eurovision and ‘Eurovision - Australia Decides’ artists throughout November.


New music:


Isaiah Firebrace - ‘First Christmas’

Released: 17 November 2022


Just in time for the Christmas holiday season Australia's Eurovision 2017 artist Isaiah Firebrace has released a new Christmas single called ‘First Christmas’.


‘First Christmas’ is self-penned and produced by Jude York from Australia Decides 2022.


The song release came a day after the release of his new book, 'Come Together: Things Every Aussie Kid Should Know about the First Peoples'. It is inspired by Isaiah's petition to the Australian Government calling for Aboriginal history to be taught in every classroom. You can read all about it here.


AYDAN - ‘Mistletoe (Justin Bieber Cover)’

Released: 18 November 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2019' artist AYDAN has released his cover of Justin Bieber's song 'Mistletoe' on Spotify.


AYDAN originally released the song two years ago with a video on YouTube. The young singer song writer has also released some new original music in December with his new single 'Everything To Me' out now.

Didirri - ‘Begin Again - Gordi Remix’

Released: 25 November 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2020 artist Didirri has released a remix version of his latest single 'Begin Again', which is set to be off his upcoming debut album.



Didirri has also revealed he is doing a Christmas show on December 16 at Hotel Westwood in Melbourne. You can get tickets to the show here.


Mitch Tambo - ‘Silent Night (Gamilaraay)’

Released: 25 November 2022


'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2020 artist Mitch Tambo has released a cover of a Christmas carol classic 'Silent Night' with a twist which includes Gamilaraay language.


Along with the news of the new cover Mitch revealed he will be travelling across Australia for the 'WALANBAA YULU-GI – BURN THE FLOOR featuring MITCH TAMBO' tour. You can get tickets to the shows here.



New shows and tours:


Dami Im, Casey Donovan, Electric Fields, Courtney Act - 'ABC New Year’s Eve'

Date and venue: Saturday 31 December 8.30pm AEDT on ABC iview and ABC TV, Sydney Opera House


ABC will be hosting its annual New Year's Eve line up and this year they will feature a huge line up of stars!


Eurovision royalty Dami Im, along with Australia Decides artists Casey Donovan, Electric Fields and Courtney Act, will be joined by Vika and Linda, Tones and I, Morgan Evans, Tasman Keith and Ball Park Music along the Northern Broadwalk of the Sydney Opera House to see out the year!



Jessica Mauboy, Casey Donovan, Electric Fields & Courtney Act - 'Sydney WorldPride' Dates: February 2023



Australia's Eurovision 2018 artist Jessica Mauboy will be joined by Australia's pop princess Kylie Minogue and Charli XCX in the official Opening Concert of WorldPride 2023. It is set to take place in Sydney on February 24, 2023.


The Opening Concert will be hosted by Casey Donovan and Courtney Act and will be broadcast live around the nation on ABC TV, Live and Proud will get the WorldPride party started! You can get further info on the event here.


Australia Decides 2019 runners up Electric Fields will be performing in 'Blak & Deadly: The First Nations Gala Concert' along with Jessica Mauboy at the iconic Sydney Opera House. It will take place on March 2, 2023. You can get further info on the event here.



Casey Donovan - '& Juliet Musical'

Dates and venue: Melbourne’s Regent Theatre February 2023



Casey Donovan is set to star in '& Juliet Musical' where she will be playing the character Angelique.


'& Juliet Musical' has been created by Emmy-Winning writer of Schitt’s Creek, David West Read. This hilarious, inspiring and poignant new musical is a celebration of self-discovery and second chances!


Shakespeare, played by Rob Mills, gets remixed with some of the world’s most loved and glittering pop anthems from legendary songwriter and #1 Hitmaker; Max Martin. The international smash hit '& Juliet' opens in Melbourne, February 2023!
