Montenegro: Vladana releases her song 'Breathe' for Eurovision 2022

This morning, Montenegro released their Eurovision 2022 entry, 'Breathe' by Vladana.

Vladana Vučinić is well known in Montenegro and first appeared on television back in 2003. The 35-year-old artist has attempted to go to Eurovision before, entering the national selection show Montevizija in 2005 and 2006 when Montenegro took part as Serbia and Montenegro.

Vladana's song 'Breathe' is co-written by herself and Darko Dimitrov who has written 11 other Eurovision songs. Some of Darko's other Eurovision entries include Elhaida Dani's 'Alive' (Albania - 2015), Tamara Todevska's 'Proud' (North Macedonia - 2019) and last year’s Serbian entry ‘Loco Loco’ performed by Hurricane.

Montenegro are returning to the competition after a two year break and are coming off a run of non-qualifiers, so hopefully Vladana can turn things around. Montenegro’s best ever result was back in 2015 with Knez and his entry ‘Adio’ which finished in 13th position in the Eurovision Grand Final.
