Last week, Latvian broadcaster LRT announced 16 semi-finalists competing in their national selection show Supernova this year.
LRT has now revealed ten entries in the running to be the 17th semi-finalist hoping to score the Latvian ticket to the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin this May.
These entries were ranked 17th-26th overall by the selection panel out of 130 songs submitted to Supernova 2022.
The wildcard songs and artists are:
Antra Stafecka & Atis Ieviņš - 'Call the Lights'
Dārta Stepanova - 'Brīnumzeme'
Edvards Strazdiņš - 'Open Road'
Katrīna Dimanta - 'My Voice'
Marta Ritova - 'Let Me Go'
Mārtiņš Strods - 'One More Time'
Miks Galvanovskis - 'I'm Just A Sinner'
Rihards Bērziņš - '1+1'
Tētis - 'Labākie vārdi'
Tom Kalderauskis - 'Naked Smile'
Starting from today, January 10 2022, you can vote for your favourite entries once every 24 hours by clicking the link below to visit the LTV website and logging in with your social media profile.
LTV will announce the winner of the wildcard vote on the January 15 2022.
The most popular entry as chosen by voters will perform with the other 16 semi-finalists in the semi-final of Supernova on Saturday February 5 (Sunday February 6 in Australia), with the final taking place on Saturday February 12 (Sunday February 13 in Australia).
