Krystian Ochman will represent Poland at Eurovision 2022 with 'River'

The Grand Final of 'Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hity na Eurowizję' took place this morning, and Poland has chosen a winner!

Krystian Ochman (also known as Ochman) will represent Poland at Eurovision 2022 with the song 'River' after taking out the Superfinal.

The Superfinal featured three artists who progressed after a 50/50 vote from jury and the public from the field. The final results were:

1. Krystian Ochman - 'River' (51%)

2. Daria - 'Paranoia' (39%)

3. Unmute - 'Głośniej niż decybele' (10%)

The entry by Unmute was performed by deaf artists who instead of singing or rapping, used sign language

The rest of the results were:

4. Kuba Szmajkowski - 'Lovesick'

5. Karolina Lizer - 'Czysta woda'

6. Ania Byrcyn - 'Dokąd?'

7. Szlachta Sisters - 'Drogowskazy'

8. Karolina Stanisławczyk feat. Chika Toro - 'Move'

9. Mila - 'All I Need'

10. Lidia Kopania - 'Why Does It Hurt?'

Ochman was chosen from a field of 10 entries. The final results were determined by a 50/50 combination of televote and jury voting over two rounds. He made it to the super final with two other artists and won the show.

Krystian Ochman was one of the artists originally circulating to represent Poland at Eurovision 2021 after winning 'The Voice of Poland' (his coach was Michał Szpak who represented Poland at the 2016 Contest). Therefore, it is no surprise that Ochman was chosen as one of the 10 artists to compete in this year's national final.

Ochman co-wrote his haunting competition song 'River' which is accompanied by a beautiful music video.

Poland was represented at Eurovision 2021 by Rafal with 'The Ride'. Unfortunately, Rafal finished 14th in the semi-finals.

Ochman will now get his ultimate chance to represent Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin.
