This morning saw the first semi-final of Estonia's national final 'Eesti Laul'.
The contest was held without an audience and with COVID-19 precautions in place including some social distancing and mask use by artists and juries present.
The entertaining semi-final also saw no fewer than three former Eurovision artists compete: Tanja (2014), Koit Toome (1998 and 2017) and Ivo Linna (1996).
There were six qualifiers from the semi-final with the first four coming through a 50/50 split between juries and televote, while the fifth and sixth places came from televote alone.
The first four qualifiers were:
Karl Killing - 'Kiss Me'
Egert Milder - 'Free Again'
Ivo Linna, Robert Linna, Supernova - 'Ma olen siin'
Koit Toome - 'We Could Have Been Beautiful'
The final two qualifiers were:
Hans Nayna - 'One By One'
Andrei Zevakin & Pluuto - 'Wingman'

Kéa - 'Hypnotized'
Tuuli Rand - 'Üks öö'

The six qualifiers will perform on the final to be held on 6th March.
Semi-final two takes place this weekend (Saturday 20 February in Europe, Sunday 4:30am AEDT in Australia) sees 2020 representative Uku Suviste compete as well Estonia's 2016 entrant Jüri Pootsmann.
