Flying the flag for Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi is Lottie O'Driscoll Murray with her song RĂșin.

You can find details on the entry, the artist, and Ireland's history at Junior Eurovision below.

About the artist: Lottie O'Driscoll Murray

Lottie O’Driscoll Murray is a 14-year-old singer from Cork. Born and raised in Shanakiel, she has been surrounded by music all her life. Her mother CĂ©line and grandmother Charlotte championed her talent from her earliest years, while her grandfather Jim O’Driscoll — a member of the band Delta 2 — and her aunt Noreen, a devoted Eurovision fan, helped to shape her artistic path.

Lottie grew up performing for crowds wherever she could, appearing on the Late Late Toy Show and performing at Cork Opera House, Cork City Hall, and the Cork Mayor’s Gala. She studies at Gaelcholáiste Mhuire, where all classes are taught in Irish, making her fully bilingual and giving her a strong connection to the language of the Irish entry.

Lottie's voice draws inspiration from the great pop and soul vocalists she adores, including Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Lyra and Cian Ducrot. Alongside her public performances, she regularly sings at charity events and street fundraisers across Cork, using her talent to give back to her community.

A sports lover as well as a performer, Lottie is passionate about Gaelic football and hurling. Outside music, she loves hairstyling and makeup, often experimenting with creative looks with help from her friends.

After being eliminated in 2023 and finishing second in 2024, Lottie returned to Junior Eurovision Éire in 2025 more focused than ever. Her show-stopping vocals propelled her through the nationwide selection, with Eurovision legends Niamh Kavanagh and Linda Martin among her supporters. On 19 October 2025, she won the televised final of TG4’s five-part competition, emerging victorious from hundreds of young performers across Ireland.

About the song: RĂșin

RĂșin (Secrets), is an emotional Irish-language ballad composed by Ian James White and Nicky Brennan, with lyrics by White, Brennan, Jenny NĂ RuisĂ©al and Rob O’Connor. Entirely in Gaelic, the song reflects Lottie’s linguistic heritage and Ireland’s ongoing commitment to showcasing its national language on the world stage. The lyrics explore themes of emotional honesty, longing, and reconnecting with a loved one after a period of distance or misunderstanding.

Ireland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

2025 marks Ireland's 10th anniversary in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They made their debut in 2015 with Aimee Banks' Réalta na mara finishing in 12th place, and have competed in every year the contest has been held since. Notably all of Ireland's entries have been sung in Irish, although their 2016 entry also featured English.

Ireland's best ever result was a 4th place in 2022 with Sophie Lennon's Solas. Only one other of their entries has been able to crack the Top 10 with a 10th place achieved by Zena Donnelly's 2016 entry BrĂce ar bhrĂceone.

Can Ireland turn their fortunes around in 2025? We'll find out in Tbilisi in just a few short weeks!
