The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is fast approaching!

Taking place in Georgian city Tbilisi, Junior Eurovision 2025 will see 18 young artists fight it out for a place in Eurovision history.

As we look forward to the show on December 13, we asked the Aussievision team to rank their favourite songs from this year's Contest.

10 team members took up the challenge, with the results set out below.

Do we think Georgia can win for the fifth time? Will returning countries Azerbaijan, Croatia and Montenegro impress? Or will one of the dark horses come out on top of our list?

There's only one way to find out - here are our top 10 favourites!

10. Inês Gonçalves - Para onde vai o amor? (Portugal) - 30 points

(8 points from Dale & Craig)

"Classy, moody, and melancholic - something that wouldn't go astray to an entry they would send to Senior Eurovision." ~ Paul

9. Gonzalo Pinillos - Érase una vez (Once Upon a Time) (Spain) - 30 points

(10 points from Sam)

"This is a rather funky tune that epitomises many young boys’ dreams of adventure. Gonzalo is very charismatic delivering this song. Since their return to Junior Eurovision in 2019 Spain really deserves to win by now, so hoping Gonzalo will do it for them." ~ Sam

"Love the message of wrapping yourself up in a book!" ~ Paul

8. Marianna Kłos - Brightest Light (Poland) - 37 points

(12 points from Sam, 10 points from Joel, 8 points from Paul)

"In a sea of ballads this one stands out as the Brightest Light. It starts off slowly but really builds up dramatically into a uplifting, emotional song. A great anthem to kids across Europe that they can do anything. Marianna’s vocal talent is incredible – contrasting between subtly haunting and powerful. She is like a young Edyta Gorniak. Poland has revived its standing as a Junior Eurovision powerhouse with this entry." ~ Sam

"What a cute little boppy power ballad this is! Probably one of the best vocals in the comp too. Soaring notes and an immediately catchy hook definitely make this a contender to win." ~ Joel

"The best of the ballads, and the best of the inspirational call-to-action songs in the competition." ~ Paul

7. Meadow - Freeze (Netherlands) - 38 points

(10 points from Paul, 8 points from Joel)

"A funky song with a lot of (age-appropriate) sass. Definitely an underrated banger." ~ Paul

6. Leonardo Giovannangeli - Rockstar (Italy) - 40 points

(10 points from Liv & Srdjan)

"Another entry that stands out from the crowd for being a different genre! Leonardo makes some very amusing references and musters as much swagger as a pre-teen can manage, the overall package is cute and catchy." ~ Liv

"Enjoyable and easy to listen to" ~ Srdjan

"Bold and brash - what a statement of a song by this young performer!" ~ Paul

5. Lou Deleuze - Ce monde (France) - 50 points

(10 points from John Christian & Domenic, 8 points from Liv)

"France doing what they do best and unfortunately I'm just weak to it every single time." ~ Domenic

"This song might be one of the favorites to win the whole thing, and if it does, then France's story in Junior Eurovision from obscurity to powerhouse will be studied by Eurovision fandoms for years to come." ~ John Christian

4. Albert - Brave Heart (Armenia) - 52 points

(12 points from Domenic & Srdjan)

"A song that, in my opinion, would smash the jury vote in 'adult' Eurovision. A compelling voice, epic instrumental and clean production that combined give me goosebumps whenever I hear this." ~ Domenic

"Magical, cinematic and winner worthy." ~ Srdjan

3. Kroni Pula - Fruta perime (Albania) - 60 points

(12 points from Joel, 10 points from Dale & Craig)

"I really love her spark and the energy of the song! Certainly convinced me to eat my fruit and vegetables. Well the English subtitles did anyway, I don’t speak Albanian. But in all honesty this one will absolutely pop against the avalanche of Temu Frozen ballads this year." ~ Joel

"This is a funky little earworm, it feels more age appropriate than a few other entries and love the little backing vocals and response. Albanian language goes so well with this as well." ~ Dale

"Any song which starts with a clip of a newsreader apocalyptically announcing that "fruit and vegetables are in danger!!!" has my attention. This is silly, fun and very age appropriate, and sounds surprisingly expensive from Albania, whose past entries at JESC have tended towards the cheap and cheerful. I hope that they're able to translate this successfully to the live setting, because there's a lot to enjoy here." ~ Craig

2. Martina Crv - Beyond the Stars (San Marino) - 72 points

(12 points from Liv & Paul, 10 points from Emma, 8 points from Domenic & Sam)

"What a delightful little country-pop tune! It stands out as a very different genre in the line-up and walks the line between the cutesy Junior Eurovision brand entries and something a bit more mature. The mixture of English and Italian flows very well - I'd love for Martina to be San Marino's first JESC winner!" ~ Liv

"San Marino's best song in Eurovision - Junior or Senior - ever! This has winner vibes all over it!" ~ Paul

"San Marino have only cracked the Top 10 once in the five years they have entered JESC, but Martina Crv could very well be the one to change that. She has something very unique here...a mature sound but not too mature to lose her appeal to Junior voters. Hopefully she'll bring out the guitar on stage...it's part of the appeal of the song's official video and taps in to a little of the early era Taylor Swift vibe she's got going on. A strong perfomer...hopefully she'll achieve the result she deserves." ~ Emma

"I enjoy San Marino sending something different. This is a solid country track. Is it too optimistic to hope Junior Eurovision 2026 will be in Valentina’s backyard?" ~ Sam

1. Sofia Nersesian - Motanka (Ukraine) - 76 points

(12 points from Dale, Craig & Emma, 8 points from John Christian & Srdjan)

"This is a super strong song and I'd be more than happy with this in the adult Contest! Super Ukrainian with catchy hook that definitely had me dancing around the kitchen a little too much for a JESC song. It has layers, it's dark but has moments of light and fun. Cracking entry." ~ Dale

"Among a sea of Disney ballads, this just feels a lot more intense and full-bodied than most of the other entries at JESC this year. The hook is catchy, the beat sounds sophisticated and overall this feels in dialogue with the sort of thing I'd expect from Vidbir at the "big" Eurovision. Another Junior Eurovision success for Ukraine." ~ Craig

"I can't believe the voice that comes out of this pint sized 10 year old...she's like a mini Loreen with those big booming vocals that could fill an arena. This is so catchy and could easily be a contender in the adult version of the show...a really enjoyable performance should hopefully translate in to a strong result for Ukraine" ~ Emma
