When is Eurovision 2026?

Eurovision 2026 will be held in the week beginning Monday 11 May. Rehearsals are likely to start the week prior from Monday 4 May.

Semi-final 1: Tuesday 12 May

Semi-final 2: Thursday 14 May

Grand Final: Saturday 16 May

For Australians, each show will be the morning of the next day (e.g. the Grand Final will be Sunday 17 May).

Where is Eurovision 2026 being held?

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, following JJ's victory in this year's contest in Basel, Switzerland with his song Wasted Love.

In August, the European Broadcasting Union and Austrian broadcaster ORF announced the capital Vienna as the host city, beating out the city of Innsbruck which also bid to host the event.

The competition will be held at the Wiener Stadthalle, which has a capacity for 16,000 fans, and was also the venue for the 2015 contest.

Where can i get tickets?

All tickets for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna 2026 have sold out across all nine shows in record time.

Fans had until 23:59 CET on 18 December 2025 to register via eurovision.com before tickets went on sale on 13 January.

Those who registered but missed out will have another chance later in the year, when a small number of additional tickets are released.

Only fans who completed the original 2025 Eurofan sign-up and ticket registration will be eligible for this next sale.

Organisers have warned fans to avoid third-party resale sites, with an official resale platform to be announced in the coming months.
