Bringing Armenian flavour to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi is Albert with his song Brave Heart.
You can find details on the entry, the artist and Armenia's history at Junior Eurovision below.
About the artist: Albert
Albert, whose last name is Armenakyan, is 12 years old and comes from Yerevan.
Albert began his musical journey at the age of just six and now takes both singing and piano lessons.
He is perhaps best known for participating in The Voice Kids France 2025. As a member of famous French-Armenian singer Patrick Fiori’s team, he went on to become one of the finalists of the show. Patrick himself represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 with the song Mama Corsica.
As a big fan of Junior Eurovision since 2018, Albert has been attempting to represent Armenia for the last 3 years. This year, his dream finally came true after he beat out over 80 other singers to become Armenia's representative at Junior Eurovision.
About the song: Brave Heart
Brave Heart is a pop ballad that blends emotional depth with orchestral cinematic production. The song was written by Anita Hakhverdyan.
It carries a strong message of hope, bravery and perseverance as highlighted by the lyric: "The one whose heart is brave / Can carry love within his soul", encouraging listeners to face challenges with an open heart and an unbreakable spirit.
With such a strong and powerful message it is easy to see why Armenia are one of the frontrunners of the competition this year.
Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Armenia are one of the most successful countries at Junior Eurovision.
They made their debut in 2007 with the song Erazanq performed by Arevik, finishing in 2nd place. Since then they have developed an incredible track record at the contest with the country yet to rank outside the top 10 in 17 participations.
This track record has seen two wins, five second-place finishes and three third-place finishes. Their two wins came in 2010, when Vladimir Arzumunyan triumphed in Minsk with his song Mama and then again in 2021 with Maléna who represented them with her song Qami, Qami in Paris.
Albert will be hoping to continue this wave of success for Armenia in 2025.
